so here is a picture from today. I think things are starting to be wrapped up in photo land so maybe I'll actually get some of our pictures done! And that means there is a small chance that we will be able to send out Christmas cards this year...maybe. ;)

The mountains

a picture of the back-side of Long's Peak, the 'key-hole'. we were in Rocky Mountain National Park over the weekend shooting some pictures for Christmas. Of, course, now that we're back, our card this year has to be done in the mountains ;) It is really hard to believe that we've been here a year ...we are SO glad! As a side note, this picture was captured out my window as we were driving ....I'm so good....ha, just kidding, the camera was in automatic. :)

Our entourage

Here's a look at the family train. We have dad's bike, the tag-a-long and then the trailer. The only thing that would make this better is a tandem bike. They love it though and we are really enjoying it. This is the first time I've been on my bike in 5 years...although, the trailer makes it quite a workout! Next is Piercen in the trailer with his new helmet - we decided the safe thing for him was to wear one - duh. :) The next ones are just some of my favs from the last month or so. I'm really behind in family pictures so there are plenty more to come as I catch up.

Birthday boy

Here's Piercen with his birthday cake...I had this whole thing planned ...cool cake...great light...well, not so much. He wasn't interested at all in the cake yet alone a photo shoot mom is trying to dream up for her website which ultimately exploits the youngest child... ;)
So, here you go...not great light....not great pictures....no cute mess...BUT, he is still really cute so I guess that makes up for it!

Tour De Fat

The New Belgium brewery sponsers a bike ride every year....that's what's going on here. The boys and I sat for 2 hours watching the 4000 riders go by in all sorts of crazy and interesting costumes. I don't think we even saw everyone. We got kind of tired and decided to join the ride on our way home. Maybe next year we will venture out with costumes??? It would be a great cultural experience for them - with all the drunk at 10 in the morning college students! Ha!

here are some pictures of the canvas hanging in the kitchen...these don't do it justice but it is soooo cool! I actually ordered thinking I'd put it in the purple bathroom but it's too small. It's 18x24 and it's too small - yes, too small. Anyway...canvas' are very cool :)
